$3000 or Less!

$3000 or Less!

I got engaged to the man of my dreams over 10 years ago.  I was young and admittedly stupid.  Needless to say, things didn't work out so well and 5 months later we seperated.

Somehow, a decade later, my ex and I reconnected and BAM!  He's not my ex anymore!  How many couples get a second chance at whirlwind romance, huh?

So, we decided to stick with the original plan and get married.  No big deal right?  WRONG!  My loving and wonderful fiance and I have been struggling to find work now for the last 4 months.  Between odd jobs and temp work we've barely managed to pay the rent and keep the heat going.  And now we're just 4 months away from the wedding!

That's right folks!  My man wants to get married on the 4th of July.  He decided this on his birthday a couple of weeks ago and I (in my infinate wisdom) decided to go along with it.  I know, I know...we're absolutely freaking crazy!

So now we have a wedding to plan and I have a budget to figure out.

$3000 is the limit!  You read that right...THREE THOUSAND OR LESS!

I have a ton of ideas on how to keep the cost down and have already started the planning for this beautiful (though completely untraditional) ceremony.  I invite you to join me as I write about my cost effective plans and share any ideas you might have.

Starting the countdown: 4 months, 2 days, 7 hours, 40 minutes.
